Cost Effective
MERCOL dry silo mortars are sold by dry weight. Yield – when mixed on site, 1 ton of dry silo mortar will produce approximately 0.70 cubic metres of mortar. One ton of dry MERCOL dry silo mortar is sufficient to lay approximately 700 bricks (the actual number may however vary between 550 and 1000 this depends upon the size of brick, depth of frog, size of perforations, site practice and other factors etc.)

With over 37 shades to choose from, we will supply an exact colour match, mix after mix.
Environmentally Friendly
One 6m³ silo replaces 105 x 20Kg bags of cement, 5 x 20Kg bags of lime and 6 bulk bags of sand.
Using dry silo mortar prevents this huge volume of empty bags from going into landfill.
Large silo capacity also means less deliveries equating to reduced environmental impact.
